Your British Gas Bill
The easiest way for you to pay your bill is by having a monthly direct debit. Use the British Gas Contact Number to speak to the Customer Services Team on 08435 047 688. A member of the British Gas team will be able to advise what might be best for you.
You will also need to choose a date in the month that suits you for when each payment will be taken out of your account.
If you have concerns about how much you are currently paying or you think your bill is in-correct then call British Gas.
If your current bill is estimated, you can provide a meter reading and have your bill adjusted. You may also have come to the end of a fixed tariff period and this could also affect your monthly payments on that tariff. Contact British Gas on 08435 047 688 and they can go through it with you.

Gas and Electricity Meter Readings
You can give your meter readings over the phone to British Gas by calling them on 08435 047 688.
You can also do this online by logging on to your British Gas account. If you provide a new meter reading, British Gas will issue you with an updated amount to make payment or receive a credit. Your bill may go up or it may go down. If it is the reading as expected then it will stay the same.
